Τhe famous British actor, Jeremy Irons, is going to visit Athens once again to attend the promotion of the film, Night Train to Lisbon.
The 65-year-old actor will be in Athens between 18 and 21 September, invited by Hollywood Entertainment, which has the rights to exploit the film in Greece and will attend the official screening.
Night Train to Lisbon, is about the sudden trip of a Swiss professor who in a moment of inspiration decides to take the train and cross Europe to unravel the mystery of the book of a Portuguese writer.
The author arrives in Portugal, where he slowly discovers great secrets of the dark period of the dictatorship, the action of a resistance group and a forbidden love triangle between two men and a woman.
The screenplay involving many actors holding small roles is based on the best seller of the award winning Swiss author, Pascal Mercier, with the same title.
The book is considered as one of the most successful German novels and it has been translated into 15 languages and sold in over 30 countries.
